The Funny Bride Speech

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to finally be Mrs. [Last name]!

I've been practicing my signature for months, and I think I've finally got it down. First, I want to thank everyone for being here today. I know some of you traveled really far, and I appreciate you making the effort – especially my college friends who somehow managed to coordinate outfits despite living in different time zones!

I also want to thank my parents for this beautiful wedding and for not completely losing their minds when I changed my mind about the flowers... three times. Dad, I promise this is the last time you'll have to pay for my indecisiveness. Well, maybe.

To my bridesmaids – thank you for pretending to be excited about dress shopping, for telling me I looked beautiful even when I clearly didn't, and for not murdering me during the planning process. You're the real MVPs. [Groom's name], when we first met, I thought you were way too good to be true.

You were handsome, funny, kind, and you actually listened when I talked. I kept waiting for the catch – like maybe you collected creepy dolls or still lived with your mother. Turns out the only catch was that you're obsessed with organizing everything by color and you have very strong opinions about the correct way to load a dishwasher.

I can live with that. You've been incredibly patient with my wedding planning stress, my tendency to cry at commercials, and my insistence that we need at least seventeen throw pillows on our couch. You make me feel beautiful, loved, and slightly less crazy than I actually am.

I love how you make me laugh, how you always know exactly what to say when I'm upset, and how you've never once complained about my extensive skincare routine that takes up half the bathroom. So here's to a lifetime of love, laughter, and you pretending to care about my stories from work!
